In the evening, the D.D.G. no. 675606 of 23/12/2024 – Decree approving the horse racing calendar for the year 2025, including the prize money , was published. In addition, the calendar of grand prix for trotting, galloping, jumps, Arabian purebreds and Anglo Arabs was also published.
The salient novelties within the decree concern first of all the prize money, which, thanks also to the amendments included in the ‘maxi-amendment’ to the budget law, guarantees the prize money at the same level as the previous year. In addition, since the total number of days has been reduced to 1200, 800 for the trot and 400 for the gallop, there are important increases in the average allocation per day.
