Favourite even at 1.40 at the Swedish betting, Diva Ek, a daughter of Trixton and Nike Ek bred by Edy Caprani, won her fourth success in a row in Scandinavia last night by trotting at an average of 1.12.8 over the double kilometre. In the lead after 450 metres, Alessandro Gocciadoro’s pupil, driven with great confidence by Magnus A. Djuse, controlled her opponents to still close with a good margin against Edelweiss and Xanthis Hilton. In four races at the current change, Antonio Nucera’s and the Effebi stable’s bearer took home almost 60,000 euros.
