Not only the two great Bivans victories on the beautiful Saturday at Vincennes. In fact, the day had begun with Matteo Zaccherini’s third place in the gentlemen’s Intercontinental Cup. The daughter of Face Time Bourbon, in fact, with Alessandro Gocciadoro, placed excellent second in a race won by L’Ile d’Haufor with David Thomain. Fourth, fifth and sixth were other Italian mares, namely Francesina Ors (Mario Minopoli Jr.), Freisa Roc (Gabriele Gelormini for Filippo Rocca) and Fede Jet with Vincenzo D’Alessandro Jr.
In the Prix du Luxembourg, a real breakaway from the Prix d’Amerique, success for Inexess Blue with Alexandre Abrivard, but very unlucky both Banderas Bi and Cash Bank Bigi. The former picked up a poor sixth place, but with a lot of regret as he slipped to third at the rope and never really found the vital space to be able to run and ended up literally riding on the sulkies of the horses in front of him, while Cash Bank Bigi ended up disqualified due to a break near the finish line when she had nevertheless reached the prize.
At the end of the day, nothing came of it for Adamo Dipa and Astronascente Zac in the trial reserved for 9-to-1 seniors.
