The party, which began in the early afternoon with the ritual celebrations and the presentation of the book dedicated to the history of Vivid Wise As, continued also on the track as the son of Yankee Slide granted an encore in the Florentine Premio Duomo and, above all, closed a glittering career by conquering his 22nd success in Group 1. The start was decisive, one of the best parts of the carrier of a moved Antonio Somma. In fact, Alessandro Gocciadoro managed to catch up with the French Ideal San Leandro, who in turn had held off Capital Mail on the outside. Once in the lead, Vivid Wise As kept a constant rhythm, not allowing any interference, and in the final he easily evaded the return of the transalpine guest, closing at an average of 1.11.9. A good third place for Dolce Viky after a difficult run on the outside.
